Hey! We're the Lades! We love going on adventures together, trying new things, and time with our family of three (our son's name is Titus!).
We grew up in the Midwest and Jesus has been central in our lives from a young age. We've been married since May of 2022, and our passion is being missional in the everyday rhythms of life.
Our Mission
Our mission at Ivy Tech is to form discipleship-making communities among students, so they are equipped to take their next steps in Christ.
Why Chi Alpha?
- AlisaBeing in the Chi Alpha community as a student challenged me to deepen my faith and to consider how I could become more missional. After graduating from Ivy Tech, I decided to work with Chi Alpha for a gap year. However, God grew my heart and passion for reaching Ivy Tech students, and overtime made it clear that this was something I was meant to do long-term!
- JonathanI got introduced to Chi Alpha during a summer ministry internship. This experience caused me to fall in love with the authenticity, vulnerability, and community that Chi Alpha is all about. A few years later, while doing ministry work unrelated to college students, the Lord called me to go on staff with the Chi Alpha! I am grateful that the Lord lined up this call with getting married to Alisa and in turn joining her on the Lafayette Ivy Tech campus.
Community Colleges Statewide:
A passion of ours to is to see official Christian community established on every Ivy Tech Community College campus in Indiana! We are prayer walking these campuses, to see God raise up missionaries, volunteers, and churches who can make this a reality!
Please pray with us that:
-Christian communities will be established on the nearly 90% of Ivy Tech campuses lacking this!
-God would raise up laborers for this harvest field.
